Reading Glasses With Rims, Without Rims, Or With Half Rims?

When choosing reading glasses, there are three major frame types to choose from: reading glasses with rims, without rims, or with "half-rims".  While there are no real advantages of one style over another, the differences are mainly aesthetic.

Reading glasses with rims

As their name indicates, reading glasses with rims have, well, rims. The rims can be made from either metal or plastic, and the frames surround the reading lens.  This type of reading glass is very common.

Reading glasses with no rims

Rimless reading glasses have no frame surrounding the reading lens. The lenses are connected to each other by a tiny strip of plastic or metal, and have an overall minimalistic look. They are very popular with people looking for an elegant look.

Reading glasses with half rims

Reading glasses with half-rims combine the features of the two previous styles of reading glasses. They normally have a frame that covers the top half of the reading lenses, leaving the bottom half of the lenses open. They have an artistic look to them, and are popular in many circles.

CTS Wholesale stocks a variety of reading glasses, including reading glasses with rims, without rims, and even half rims.  By stocking a variety of types of frames, you can be assured of meeting your customer's demands.
